Performance and Specifications

This particular model is a right-hand-drive version of the Dynamics and Lightweighting Study (DLS) Turbo. It features a 3.8-liter air-cooled, twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that generates an impressive 710 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. This power is managed through a six-speed manual gearbox, allowing the car to achieve a top speed of 218 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.0 seconds. The car's body is constructed entirely from carbon fiber, enhancing both performance and aesthetics.

Unique Restoration Elements

The Firefly Commission is designed to pay homage to the iconic Porsche 934/5 endurance racers from the 1970s. It includes both race and road-focused body sections, a feature that was a $175,000 option. The vehicle is equipped with custom bucket seats, a distinctive orange steering wheel, and a full roll cage integrated into the roof pillars, adding to its racing pedigree.

Currently, this meticulously restored Porsche is listed for $3.95 million through RM Sotheby’s. Despite having covered only 1,294 miles, the owner has decided to sell it after developing a strong emotional attachment to a previous DLS model.
