Aston Martin's New Valhalla Spider
Aston Martin has officially unveiled the Valhalla Spider, an exciting open-top variant of its mid-engined plug-in hybrid supercar. Set to make its global debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, the Valhalla Spider stands out as the British luxury brand's first mid-engined open-cockpit production supercar and its fastest open-top model to date.
To enhance the driving experience, the Valhalla Spider features a wind deflector and a redesigned engine intake snorkel, optimizing airflow for passengers. Its active aerodynamics have also been updated to ensure stability whether the roof is on or off.
Under the hood, the Spider inherits the potent 1,079 PS (1,065 hp) hybrid powertrain from the Valhalla Coupé, integrating a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with three electric motors. This setup enables the vehicle to achieve a 0-62 mph time of just 2.5 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
The car maintains the Coupé's carbon-fibre structure and unique dihedral doors for ease of access, while introducing new carbon-fibre Touring Seats for improved comfort. Customers can opt to retain the original carbon-fibre seats from the Coupé at no extra cost.
While official pricing is yet to be disclosed, estimates suggest that the Valhalla Spider will start between $1,100,000 and $1,600,000, which is a premium compared to the Coupé's starting price of $1,051,000. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
